What Do you Know about the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana(PMKVY)

PMKVY is the new programme under the Ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship. This Programme is aimed to impart the Skill training for the citizens of the india to earn their livelihood. Apart from imparting the training, This programmes is also supporting the Trainees with monetary awards.  

This Programmes is implemented by the National Skill Development Corporation(NSDC). Main aim is impart the training to 24-Lakh youth with 1,500 crores of rupees(initial Corpus). 


Objectives:- 


1. Imparting the Skill training to boost the Employment of the Youth,Especially in organised sector.

2. Disseminating the Rs8,000 monetary award per candidate,who are excelling in the training Process.


Important Features:-

1. Implementing Agency:- NSDC

2. Checks and Balances:- The important feature of this scheme is Differentiation of the Assessment agency and Implementing Agency.

3. Monetary Award:- 
Each candidate,who is eligible to get the Monetary Award will get his money through his bank account.

4. scheme is developed with Public-Publi-Partnership and Public-Private-Partneship.

5. Skill Development Management System(SDMS):-
SDMC is setup to record the available infrastructure, Quality of the training, location of skill imparting centres and information regarding the biometrics, video recording and other matters related this scheme.

6. Grievances Redressal Mechanism:-
This Scheme also possess Grievances Redressal Mechanism, which receives complaints from the citizens.

Udaan:-

Udaan is a Special Industry Initiative for Jammu & Kashmir in the nature of partnership between the corporates of India and Ministry of Home Affairs and implemented by National Skill Development Corporation. The programme aims to provide skills training and enhance the employability of unemployed youth of J&K. The Scheme covers graduates, post graduates and three year engineering diploma holders.
